Frankly, Phase 5 of the MCU has frankly gotten off to a bit of a weird start with Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania (2023). While not the worst superhero film ever made, the third film in the Ant-Man series feels like it's trying to do way too much while accomplishing very little. All at once, it's trying to be a straightforward movie about Ant-Man (Paul Rudd) and his family, trying to introduce a new facet of the MCU with the Quantum Realm, and introduce the franchise's next big bad. That last goal is undoubtedly the most important to achieve, and thankfully the film gets close to accomplishing it thanks to another fantastic performance from Jonathan Majors as Kang.

<![CDATA[What To Expect From 'The Buccaneers' TV Show Based on Edith Wharton's Book]]> Edith Wharton's novel The Buccaneers has been adapted into a series for Apple TV+ and will premiere on November 8. The series will certainly be compared to Sanditon, the much-beloved Jane Austen adaptation whose third season aired earlier this year on PBS and BritBox. Both are historical romance novels written by literary icons. More specifically, The Buccaneers, just like Sanditon, was not completed at the time of the author's death. But Austen only finished a few chapters of Sanditon – the series departs from her story almost immediately whereas Wharton finished about three fifths of The Buccaneers, which was published in its unfinished state after she died and is often considered one of her best novels. Read on for more of what to expect from Apple TV+'s The Buccaneers.

Jada's new memoir Worthy reveals information about her marriage to legendary actor Will Smith and the late musician Tupac Shakur. Jada and Will have frequently been in the headlines in recent years. In 2016, Will joined Jada in her call to boycott the Academy Awards due to a lack of diversity among nominations. In 2020, during an episode of her talk show Red Table Talk, actors Jada and Will openly discussed her "entanglement" with singer August Alsina that ended years ago. However, Will Smith walking onstage at the Academy Awards to assault comedian Chris Rock in 2022 would be the turning point that would cause fans to divide on who is at fault. Jada's new book, Worthy, gives extensive insight into her perspective and feelings during various moments in her life, but the moments shared with her husband, Will, are missing one thing: reality television cameras.

<![CDATA[This 'Office' Storyline Was Doomed From the Start]]> Across nine seasons, NBC's The Office told dozens of hilarious and heartwarming stories. Unlike many sitcoms preceding it, the mockumentary managed to sustain narratives over several episodes, not always tying up conflicts before the credits rolled. For the most part, this was a fruitful approach, as it allowed characters to endure consequences, feel emotions, and grow beyond the constraints of a 30-minute block. However, not all storylines were prolific. Will Ferrell's brief run as Deangelo Vickers, the Schrute Farms spinoff attempt, and Andy Bernard's (Ed Helms) slow fall from grace are just a few arcs that fans look back upon with disapproval. The most ill-fated of them all, though, came in Season 9, with a storyline and character introduction that put much of the series into question.

<![CDATA[Do Yourself a Favor and Watch ‘Moonlighting’]]> The decade of the 1980s threw a little bit of everything at us when it came to television genres. There were police procedurals like Hill Street Blues, mindless action fare like The A-Team and Knight Rider, medical dramas including St. Elsewhere, and of course, the uber-popular wealthy family nighttime soaps Dallas, Dynasty, and Falcon Crest. But among all these various styles of hour-long serials, there was one show that stood out from the rest for being the perfect combination of all of them, yet a unicorn unto itself: the Glenn Gordon Caron-created mystery comedy series Moonlighting.

Although two decades have passed since the curmudgeonly vamp appeared on television, he’s back in the new Audible series, Slayers: A Buffyverse Story. The actor reprised his role of the titular character in the 2022 television series, after playing the sorcerer in Ron Howard's 1988 film of the same name. But before audiences had a chance of enjoying the show, the company removed it from its streaming service in what was called a "tax write-off" at the time. Since a physical release of the project wasn't launched before its removal, there currently isn't a legal way to watch the series, erasing months of hard work the cast and crew poured into Willow permanently.

<![CDATA[Why ‘Chucky’ Season 3 Is Set in the White House]]> For almost four decades since the Child’s Play franchise has been around, audiences have watched the killer doll known as Chucky (voiced by Brad Dourif) wreak havoc across the country. From Chicago to New York and even Hollywood, nowhere has been safe from the pint-sized slasher’s razor sharp knife. In USA Network and Syfy’s series, Chucky, the doll was back with the first season set in the killer’s hometown of Hackensack, New Jersey, and the second at a Catholic reform school. Making a major (and quite frankly shocking) jump, Season 3 drops Chucky in Washington, DC where he’s managed to infiltrate the first family at the White House. In an interview with Collider’s Britta DeVore, franchise creator, Don Mancini, shared why the most famous home in America made for the perfect setting.

After seven films, Syfy and USA Network greenlit a series based on the possessed killer doll known as Chucky two years ago. <![CDATA['Chucky' Creator Don Mancini Shares His Favorite Queer Slasher Icon]]> While it may not come right out and slap audiences in the face, there’s no doubt that the Child’s Play franchise is a queer one. Don Mancini, the man behind all seven movies and now the three-season-running Syfy, USA Network, and Peacock series, Chucky, has made it a point to create a space within his projects to include the LGBTQ+ community. Whether it’s the cameo appearance of the legendary icon John Waters or the fact that the main characters - Chucky (Brad Dourif) and Tiffany Valentine (Jennifer Tilly) - have a gender non-conforming kid, now known as GG (Billy Boyd, Lachlan Watson), the franchise has always held space for those looking for representation. Taking things one step further, the series’ main protagonists, Jake (Zackary Arthur) and Devon (Björgvin Arnarson) are a young queer couple, arriving full circle in Mancini’s dedication to the queer community.

<![CDATA['RHOP' Season 8 Will Be Robyn Dixon's Worst]]> Robyn Dixon managed to outsmart both Andy Cohen and the producers of RHOP last season by keeping her marital woes to herself. It wasn't until the very end of Season 7 that word got out about yet another indiscretion by her then fiancé Juan Dixon. By the time the Karen Huger brought news of Juan having a rumored mistress, Robyn and Juan had already quietly dealt with the infraction and were once again a united, albeit dysfunctional front. Robyn rolled her eyes and acknowledged Juan had inappropriate conversations with a woman but assured the ladies that he was repentant, and the two were back on solid ground headed down the aisle. Andy was visibly irritated by Robyn's disregard for the platform but instead of firing her, she was asked to do a solo interview to accompany the reunion, giving details of the infraction that should've been shared earlier in the season. She was spared ridicule during season 7, but her dishonesty paired with Juan's continued disrespectful behavior and dismissive attitude have worked to make Robyn a target without any allies on the show.

<![CDATA[The Peak TV Model Is Officially Broken — And That’s a Good Thing]]> For the last decade, we’ve been living in the world of peak TV. Streamers and premium networks were throwing endless dollars at major TV shows hoping to make the next Breaking Bad or Stranger Things. The result was an odd paradox for viewers and TV writers alike; lots of opportunities to experience or create new art, but there was little in the way of long-term commitment from these new shows. Companies were now enamored with the limited-run TV program, which allowed outfits to not have to commit to long-term writer’s rooms or offer up the opportunity for writers to score significant raises if a show went into multiple seasons. It was a nightmare scenario that was one of many problems with the peak TV landscape pressing enough to inspire the writers to go on strike.

Speaking about her starring role in this season, Debicki (Princess Diana) said: “I think it’s a really unique challenge as an actor, to portray those days. <![CDATA['House of the Dragon' Season 1 Shouldn't Have Cut a Crucial Relationship]]> House of the Dragon retells one of the many stories in George R.R. Martin's Fire & Blood, but as with any adaptation, the two versions don't look exactly the same. HBO made several changes to the story adjusting and cutting out parts as they saw fit. The result is a series that skips through the years leading up to the Targaryen civil war and drops many plot points from Martin's original story. While some of the changes benefit the story, others do it a disservice. For one thing, while the show has many different characters, few have the time they deserve. The leads, Rhaenyra (Emma D'Arcy), Alicent (Olivia Cooke), Daemon (Matt Smith), and Viserys (Paddy Considine), are explored in depth, but the secondary characters are often forgotten. For example, Laena Velaryon (Nanna Blondell) often appears but does very little. Many of the skipped plot points involve Laena, from her willful ways as a child to her claiming the dragon Vhagar.

They keep their relationship a secret at work, but when Emily gets an unexpected promotion that was rumored to go to Luke, their relationship hits the rocks. Fair Play is a tense relationship drama as well as an indictment of the misogyny that remains pervasive in corporate culture despite recent progress, similar to the premise and social commentary found in HBO's workplace drama Industry. Industry follows four recent college graduates vying for a permanent position at Pierpoint & Co, a London-based investment bank firm with a similarly high-pressure environment as Fair Play's One Crest Capital. While the toxic corporate culture of the financial sector is used as a backdrop and something that drives a wedge between Emily and Luke's relationship, Industry's first two seasons take a broader look at the lives of a group of ambitious twenty-somethings with plenty of sex, drugs, and juicy interpersonal conflict. With a more diverse ensemble cast than the two white protagonists in Fair Play, Industry also highlights the complex relationship dynamics between the four candidates and the larger Pierpoint staff, grappling with misogyny, racism, economic and educational privilege, and the pressures of climbing the ladder in a fiercely competitive industry.

<![CDATA[The TV Series Finale That Got Everything Right]]> When it comes to debating what the greatest TV drama of all time is, The Wire is one of those universally beloved shows that will just about always be considered a contender. It ran for five seasons between 2002 and 2008, and though it was overlooked by many while it was on the air (perhaps a consequence of being on while so many other iconic shows were, what with the 2000s being something of a golden age for TV), its legacy is now hard to deny or ignore. But even with a crowded landscape, it is strange that The Wire got so ignored, even if it didn't have too many big-name actors and was a fairly dense show, with a certain level of commitment being needed to follow it. That all makes it something of a miracle that it was able to last for five seasons and finish on its own terms. Indeed, of the only two Emmy nominations the show ever received — both for Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series — one was for the final episode of the show's final season, "-30-."

<![CDATA[Give John Wick's Sofia a Spinoff, You Cowards!]]> Although John Wick: Chapter 4 offered a fairly definitive conclusion to the story of Keanu Reeves’ titular hitman, the world of John Wick is being rapidly expanded. It was clear from the first film that Wick himself is part of a larger network of spies, assassins, and killers that work under the High Table, and we’re now just getting to see some of those other stories told. The Peacock original series The Continental: From The World of John Wick explores the early exploits of Wick’s mentor Winston Scott (Colin Woodell), and Len Wiseman’s upcoming spinoff film Ballerina will explore the adventures of the new heroine Rooney (Ana de Armas). It’s exciting to see that the John Wick universe will go on, even if the character himself has departed, as many of the films have hinted at some of the other players in this world whose stories have yet to be completed. Now that Wick has joined his wife in death, it’s about time that the films check in on Halle Berry’s Sofia Al-Azwar.

<![CDATA['Annika' Season 2 Review — A Fresh Take on the Police Procedural]]> At some point, I lost track of all the police procedurals on television. From Law & Order to FBI, it seems like just about every possible branch of law enforcement has been covered to some extent, with varying degrees of success. There’s some that have been around as long as I can remember, but Alibi’s series Annika hits a kind of criminal investigation I’d never heard of before, following Nicola Walker as the detective inspector of a Marine Homicide Unit in Glasgow, Scotland. The show’s back for a second season on Masterpiece, and with it comes even more of the quirks to be found in a unique perspective on the murder mystery.

Not only does the leading trio, Walker Scobell as Percy Jackson, Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth, and Aryan Simhadri as Grover feel fresh and promising, but the whole supporting cast is full of powerhouse performers.

Telling the story of a group of up-and-coming supes studying at the prestigious Godolkin University, the first episodes of the premiere season are now available on the streamer. While Gen V focuses on mostly new faces, they’ve also managed to grab a few familiar characters from the flagship series. Included in the lineup of cameos (so far) are Jensen Ackles’ Soldier Boy, Chace Crawford’s The Deep, Jessie T. Usher’s A-Train, Colby Minifie’s Ashley Barrett, Claudia Doumit’s Victoria Neuman, and P.J. Byrne’s Adam Bourke. During a recent interview with Collider's Christina Radish, Gen V showrunner Michele Fazekas and executive producer Eric Kripke opened up about the tables turning and what younger stars audiences can expect to see crossover into future episodes of The Boys.

<![CDATA['SNL' – Pete Davidson Is Forced to Answer Awkward Questions in New Sketch]]> Pete Davidson’s return to Saturday Night Live with musical guest Ice Spice delivered a night full of hilarious sketches including one which parodied the Wired Autocomplete Interview. The sketch revisited those awkward moments when the celebrities read the questions that they don’t quite know how to answer. In the parody, Disney has a new TV show, and it’s all about Stark Labs! The cast members are ready to promote the Disney+ series and are excited to talk about themselves. But for one actor, it’s less about actually getting to know him at all.

<![CDATA[Pete Davidson's Best 'SNL' Sketches, Ranked ]]> Saturday Night Live is back, baby! But where do we even begin? Season 48 ended quite abruptly in April when the WGA went on strike, making Ana de Armas’ episode with musical guest Karol G the last new one for roughly five months. Yes, SNL takes off for the summer anyway, but the premature ending from the much-needed Hollywood shake-up meant we missed out on Succession star Kieran Culkin returning (already!) to host, as well as The White Lotus Emmy winner and overall icon Jennifer Coolidge in her hosting debut.

<![CDATA['SNL' – Pete Davidson Has Questions About Please Don't Destroy's Comedy Past]]> Please Don’t Destroy continue to grow in popularity, but thankfully, they’re still releasing their short films on Saturday Night Live. This week, they had a pretty great one with Pete Davidson. Davidson, who returns to SNL as host, goes to see Ben Marshall, John Higgins, and Martin Herlihy. When he’s in the room with them, they start talking about how they looked up old stand-ups that Davidson was doing when he was 16 years old. The video is a cute look at Davidson when he was younger and shows how dedicated he was to his work as a comedian. What you probably won’t expect is all of Please Don’t Destroy owning Davidson’s past work as a stand-up.

<![CDATA[How Accurate Is 'NCIS'?]]> CBS has turned its status as America’s “most watched network” into a slogan thanks in large part to the NCIS franchise. Charting strong after almost 20 years, the original NCIS was the most-watched primetime scripted series of the 2021-2022 season. Itself a spin-off of JAG, it spun off into NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans, NCIS: Hawai’i, and the upcoming NCIS: Sydney. While most viewers probably don’t watch NCIS for realism, speculating about audience motivation is a futile exercise that may not even reflect on the potential irresponsibility of the work in question. NCIS is wildly inaccurate, and in an age of increased sensitivity toward depictions of law enforcement in popular entertainment, accuracy matters when that entertainment is, in fact, the most popular.

The episode is the first back following a five-month hiatus in support of the WGA strike and now. As a variety show, SNL falls under a different rule for the still ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, allowing the show to return, and now we get to see some of our favorite comedians back on screen once more! Davidson returning to the show after he left back in 2022 is exciting because we get to see him in a more hands-on role as a host! As a stand-up comedian, Davidson naturally took to doing his monologue like a stand-up set.

<![CDATA[Six ‘Big Brother’ Competitions That Would Make the Game More Equal]]> Big Brother is a social game where people live in a house and evict each other every week. The way to get the power to choose who is in danger is by winning competitions. Some of the competitions rely on luck, others rely on memory, but most of them rely on speed and athleticism. Most of the competitions are also in favor of taller people. This leads to more men winning, which could lead to the women being vulnerable. Here are some changes that could make everyone an equal competitor on the CBS show.

<![CDATA['SNL' — Travis Kelce Makes Surprise Cameo in NFL/Taylor Swift Sketch]]> Taylor Swift might be breaking the box office right now with the release of Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour hitting theaters this weekend, but she is also the talk of football households. So what better way to poke fun at dads everywhere than by having a Saturday Night Live sketch completely spoofing those football players and hosts who think that Swift is “too girly” for them to talk about? Starting with a post-show chat between Howie Long (Mikey Day) and other hosts like Terry Bradshaw (Molly Kearney), they’re all making jokes about all the Swifties suddenly watching football because of the budding romance between Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. The jokes started off slow but built to some good-natured humor as the skit turned into debating who was the biggest Swiftie in the room.

Now that the WGA and the AMPTP have come to a deal that worked for both parties, the show can return because it is technically a variety show and does not fall under the SAG-AFTRA rules. The typical fanfare of a Saturday Night Live cold open was nowhere to be found this week when host Pete Davidson took to the stage to bring a somber message about the week in the news as a whole. Davidson began by saying that the audience may see him as the last person who should be commenting on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict but that he has a unique perspective on the terrorist attacks from this week.

The two didn't get along, which makes sense considering their personalities are vastly different with Manzo as a conversation spirit and Glanville being a partier. But it got so bad that neither finished the week-long trip, with Manzo leaving before production concluded, and Glanville being asked to leave by production. <![CDATA[The Best Way To Watch ‘Blue Exorcist’ Isn’t the Order You’d Think]]> If you were watching anime in 2011, you most likely remember Blue Exorcist. It was a popular shōnen at the time, though maybe not at the level of Hunter x Hunter or Gintama, which both came out the same year. The series has two seasons, a film, and an OVA. There is also a new season on the horizon for January 2024, though no concrete premiere date has been announced. Even so, there’s no time like the present to try and get involved with the series. Blue Exorcist is adapted from a manga of the same name that is penned by Kazue Kato. It is a dark fantasy series that follows teenager Rin Okumura, a boy who often finds himself in trouble despite his good heart. When his and his brother Yukio’s surrogate father is killed by Satan, they find out that Satan is their true father, and Rin’s demonic powers are awakened. <![CDATA[The Best 'Chainsaw Man' Character Isn't Denji]]> Chainsaw Man was one of 2022's most anticipated arrivals onto the shōnen anime scene, and newer fans of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s masterpiece have been eager to learn what the gore-infested, devil craze is all about! The original story follows the Public Safety Devil Hunters, a government agency devoted to protecting citizens from death-threatening devils across Japan. After Denji (Toya Kikunosuke), a young man without a home or family, is suddenly murdered by the Yakuza, his pet, dog-like devil, Pochita, offers him a deal to merge their bodies together. Miraculously, the teenager is revived and granted the power to transform his body parts into chainsaws, and Denji joins the Tokyo Special Division 4, where he meets extraordinary devil hunters, including Makima (Kusunoki Tomori), Power (Fairouz Ai), Himeno (Ise Mariya), and — of course — his badass mentor Aki Hayakawa (Sakata Shougo). Without the guidance of his compelling best pal, Denji would have easily lost himself in the chaotic purge of devil slaying. The deuteragonist may seem coldhearted on the outside, but Aki proves himself to be the most prominent figure in the show from his determined motivation, silent, caring demeanor, and bittersweet backstory that make him irresistible for new and loyal fans of the sensational animated series.

<![CDATA[The ‘90s Cop Show That Made Police Procedurals Cool]]> Police procedurals have become a cool staple on television, but it wasn't always the case. New York Undercover, which graced the screens on Fox between '94 and '99, pioneered the stylish police procedurals as we know them now. Following two young undercover detectives, J.C. Williams (Malik Yoba), and Eddie Torres (Michael DeLorenzo), New York Undercover was like a pitch to you to become a cop. With a diverse cast ensemble and even more realistic storylines, the show was more relatable to a much wider audience. Coming on the heels of the Cold War when spying had ruled the world and shaped film and TV, the show reminded us of the ingenuity of undercover operatives. New York Undercover was also not afraid to tackle issues such as parenting, identity, racism, sexism, and drug abuse, which made the show more than just a police procedural but a social commentary too. Its refreshing look at police procedurals paved the way for shows such as The Shield and The Wire.

<![CDATA[Ron Howard Guest Starred on One of the Best 'M*A*S*H' Episodes]]> Throughout its 11 years on air, M*A*S*H had countless classic episodes and many guest stars to join the fray. One of the best episodes in the entire series debuted early in the show's history. The Season 1 episode "Sometimes You Hear the Bullet," features Ron Howard as a 15-year-old kid who faked his name and age to enlist in the Marines. Wait a second, let's backtrack for a moment — yes, we're talking about the Ron Howard. The iconic actor turned filmmaker has been in the film industry for decades now, and even though he had two hit series to his name early on in his career, he also appeared on many TV shows like M*A*S*H. Although Howard's role in "Sometimes You Hear the Bullet" is pivotal, he isn't the only reason that it works. This is a classic through and through and it's one of the best examples of why this beloved series is still relevant and important today.

<![CDATA['Gilmore Girls' — In Defense of the Original Finale]]> Back in 2007, Gilmore Girls aired its series finale "Bon Voyage," and while it's always hard to say goodbye to a show you've grown to love, fans of the series found it difficult for an entirely different reason: they simply didn't like it. After seven seasons and 153 episodes of humor, hardships, and coffee — lots and lots of coffee — fans were expecting a fond and fitting farewell to Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory Gilmore (Alexis Bledel) but were ultimately disappointed. But while it may not have been the finale — or season — fans wanted, the OG Gilmore Girls finale doesn't deserve the bad rep it gets. In fact, it actually did a decent job of closing Lorelai and Rory's chapter, and it deserves a second chance.

<![CDATA[How 'Jujutsu Kaisen' Surpassed the Big Three Anime Shows]]> The central backbone of "Big Three" in anime, especially in the shonen genre, has set the standard for how other series may play out when eventually being adapted from their respected mangas into animated features. Every anime genre has its stereotypes and self-set expectations, but the current standing of the current Big Three — Naruto, One Piece, and Bleach is at risk of being overshadowed by relative newcomers to the shonen genre. MAPPA's Jujutsu Kaisen has rightfully earned its current popularity, has kept in stride with the Big Three when accumulating a mass following, and perhaps even surpasses it when it comes to examining where this individual series succeeds. Jujutsu Kaisen is able to outpace the Big Three due to its ability to eliminate the need for excess filler episodes and tell a streamlined story that cuts out any sluggishness. This anime in particular also has a more mature appeal to it, and its darker tone invites risk-taking when bouncing off of a shonen foundation. The series introduces more complex characters, themes, and takes advantage of the opportunity of being more intense without feeling the need to limit itself. Jujutsu Kaisen has also been praised for its animation quality, which improves watchability improves overall compared to the Big Three.

<![CDATA[The Scariest Part of ‘American Horror Story’ Isn't What You Think]]> The horror anthology can be a hit or miss when it comes to characters or plotting. Killing off Twisty (John Carroll Lynch) so early in Freakshow to replace him with Dandy (Finn Wittrock) lost scare power. The nearly season-long flashback for Apocalypse might be forgiven if it delivered on the promised crossover between Coven and Murder House. The longer American Horror Story goes on, flaws are obvious to spot, whereas in previous seasons they might be easily overlooked. However, a part of the show that never fails to creep us out is the opening title sequence, and it can be fun to spot the variations to the revamped audio and visuals when each season arrives. The spinoff, American Horror Stories, has its variants, but the main series is special for where it all began, hiding in hints and clues to key moments in later episodes that the spinoff’s standalone format can’t do. And it wouldn’t be possible if it were not for two Latino creatives who had a major hand in creating the show’s iconic title sequence you know and fear.

<![CDATA[The True Story Behind ‘Dragon Ball Z’s Most Evil Villain]]> Art imitates life in the funniest ways and anime is no exception in spite of the ridiculous over-the-top energy pulsing through the genre at all times, which is why it should only come as a slight surprise that one of anime’s most iconic villains, Frieza (Ryūsei Nakao) from Dragon Ball Z fame, is actually based off of real estate speculators during the Japanese asset price bubble between 1986 and 1991. If Godzilla is after all based on the fear of radiation poisoning as a result of atomic bomb testing, it makes sense that Dragon Ball series creator Akira Toriyama would base his own big bad off of a very real crisis that led to what was known in Japan as ‘the Lost Decades.’ It’s the equivalent of basing Thanos off of the 2008 financial crisis; hardly a bad idea, as there’s hardly a better target to funnel an audience’s rage towards than those whose malpractice ushered millions of livelihoods into extreme debt and disarray.

<![CDATA[ 'American Horror Story' Should Have Ended With Season 4]]> American Horror Story spoiled us. In many ways, we weren't able to fully comprehend just how good we had it those first four seasons until it was all yanked out from under us like a massive rug. We literally had Jessica Lange leading a cast-wide sing-a-long and dance to "The Name Game" in the middle of a 1964 asylum... if that's not evidence enough that we had it made in the shade in the early days of American Horror Story, then I don't know what is. Tragically, Ryan Murphy's American Horror Story franchise lost its luster once Season 4 came to a close back in 2015. And while it feels sacrilegious to write out that statement, almost every iteration that came after American Horror Story: Freak Show has been a bit of a mess in its own right. Most of us were pretty crushed after hearing that Jessica Lange wouldn't be returning for Season 5, but news of Lady Gaga's arrival put a temporary bandage on the situation. That is, until Season 5 actually came along. Now with American Horror Story: Delicate, it appears Kim Kardashian's casting might have been a similar situation.
